Testing

When it comes to state testing, our priority is to foster a calm and supportive environment where students feel confident and prepared to do their best. This is simply an opportunity to assess how much our students have learned and grown since the start of the year. We prepare students through daily engaging lessons, review activities, formative/summative assessments, and practice. By preparing students and encouraging students to give their best effort, we empower them to approach the test with confidence. While we do work hard to prepare students and take the testing process seriously, we also know that this is just one of many ways to show how much students have grown and how much has been accomplished over the year. We know that testing can bring anxiety to some families, so please partner with us in sharing how proud we are of our students, always, for doing their best and persevering! Let’s work together to make this a more positive experience! We look forward to an amazing school year of growth and learning.
